Stepping out of the traditional travel mold to experience the best of both worlds. This 2025 project spanned a massive geographical footprint: navigating the Alaskan coast via cruise ship before pivoting to a week of independent RV living in the Rockies. Highlights included whale watching at sea and bear tracking in Yellowstone—a lesson in shifting travel styles to maximize efficiency and perspective.

A two-week journey that redefined my perspective on North American travel. From the effortless 'point-to-point' efficiency of an Alaskan cruise to the rugged, self-contained freedom of an RV in Yellowstone, I experienced the full spectrum of the West. While the cruise offered a high-service, streamlined environment, the RV allowed me to live and travel as one—experiencing the wild exactly where it happens. A powerful reminder of how shifting your environment can maximize both perspective and joy.
